Seriously! A van has a cover so workmen can leave their tools in it year-round, and it's lower to the ground so it's much easier to load and unload. The Mercedes Sprinter is probably the best work vehicle imo

Windshield solar visors will be making a comeback (if they ever even fell out of fashion) with climate change heating things up. I drive a black car with a black leather interior and the thing makes a huge difference when it's sunny and 80+° F outside

And I'm finding myself actually posting comments instead of drafting and deleting them like I did on Reddit for the last 6-7 years. The comment threads really deteriorated on Reddit over the last decade

Everyone tangentially related to cybersecurity knows by now that frequent password expirations encourage users to set insecure passwords for a net negative to security, so why the hell do cybersecurity insurance providers still require expirations? We have this for my org even though we have SSO backed up with MFA for all accounts. So frustrating!

Another piece to this is that smartphone innovations have slowed down significantly. I used my Samsung S8+ from launch 2017 until 2022 and couple kept it going longer but it wasn't getting security updates anymore and it's performance for Android Auto had intermittent issues, so I sold it to my friend (who's still using it) and upgraded. But as far as new features on new phones, by upgrading I got a faster display, faster SoC, and more RAM, which are nice to have but not game changers imo, and I lost a headphone jack, micro SD card expansion, and downgraded the resolution of my display (S21). I'm planning on holding onto this phone as long as possible and maybe I'll upgrade to a foldable if they iron out the kinks and come down in price.

Hell, If I clean/do chores, exercise, or cook a meal after work I call it a win for that day.

I'm pretty sure there are tons of people who have it but never even get a cold sore either

People with iPhones use iMessage for texting which turns their bubbles blue (green for any other type of phone) and with iMessage there are a whole slew of features that people enjoy like chat bubbles to show active typing, read receipts, sending over Wi-Fi, etc. Often there's one member of a group chat with an Android who can't take advantage of those features and it limits the group chat features since they use SMS/MMS/RCS protocol instead. Here's an article about it:

They want you uneducated so you're not able to comprehend the nigh infinite ways they're constantly chipping away personal freedoms and enriching themselves and their corporate benefactors. So they can dismantle public institutions and replace them with private for-profit businesses.

ReVanced is definitely worth setting up. It only takes a couple of minutes and vastly improves the experience using YouTube. I also homebrewed my LG tv to download a hacked YouTube ad free app for that which includes sponsorblock.
