I agree. It doesn’t make sense to remember all rules for comments.

Also, this would create a bubble where everyone cheers for each other unlike having a normal conversation or discussion.

Bird is the word.

That what apple says.

No body can confirm without reviewing iOS source code.

Edit: spelling correction

Probably he or she is simplifying the explanation because shared biometrics login doesn’t necessarily indicate that biometrics is stored locally.

But it’s true that no cloud nor third party involved in storing biometrics information.

Or maybe better if op could spend 5 minutes to do their research before posting inaccurate claims.

Yeah I agree it was probably a/b testing since I use ublock origin as well so I’m use to this kind of stuff.

But the point I’m trying to make that I didn’t know at that time librewolf would have settings turned on that could break some websites.

It broke youtube for me yesterday and mind you I’m a web developer and I didn’t know what broke it exactly to turn it on/off.

It fixed it self today though.

And Unwatched for iOS.

Probably would create a demand and make their numbers go up.

Sure they lose money at the end of the day but this could delay their ai bubble burst.

Cool idea however, I don’t want to benefit AI companies in the process.

I’m waiting for the ai bubble to burst so I can double my pcs ram to 128gb for 50% off of the normal price.

I installed Ubuntu in my surface go 2 and it’s light years ahead of windows in terms of performance.

I couldn’t get the camera to work though. But other than that it’s rock solid.

A dream of a Linux distribution where the entire desktop environment is Win32 software running under WINE. A completely free and open-source OS where you can just download .exe files and run them, for the power user who isn't necessarily a Unixhead, or just for someone who thinks this sounds fun.

I like the layout and looks of windows 2000 but I think running actual exe files from the old OS is not viable from security standpoint.

Hi

I’ve been looking for a retro theme for my home assistant setup preferably like Windows 98 UI and I’m wondering if someone developed one or managed to find similar themes.

I saw today new “merch” section below comments. I’m a premium users for a reason, I want 0 ads.

I just canceled my subscription and moved to yattee / invidious for good.

I’ve an iPhone and Id like to backup my phone to my server running Debain 11 with docker installed.

So, is there a way to install and run iTunes either on the os it self or in a container?

Microsoft Teams is cancer.

I added Open Meteo integration but the hourly forecast doesn’t work. After investigating the api response, I concluded that the hourly query wasn’t present in the request.

Is these a way to add it manually?

I use RSS to fetch reddit posts for subs that are not active in Lemmy.

Sometimes I need to read the comments so I’d view the post from safari. Today, I tried like 3 post and when click on view post, it would redirect me to the App Store.

When I decided to screenshot the page to make this post, it did show the post but would refuse like 1 out of 5 times.

There are weird things happening in the-federation.info page:

  1. Users count is fluctuating for a few days
  2. Some instance report wrong numbers such as lemmyonline.com which reports 97,024 posts where as the actual posts are less than 50 posts
