Ignoring the article and focusing ob the picture: how can people leave so much trash behind? More so on a lawn.

They might be outdated in cities, but on the country side a lot of the streets still look this way. Probably even more at border crossings. The only bordercrossing I haven't see like this is the main road Kleve-Nijmegen.

Definetly! You can use SPARQL to query the database! Kinda new to the whole thing, but I think this at least shows how many benches you have edited as the last person.

SELECT ?user (COUNT(*) AS ?count) WHERE {
  ?bench osmt:amenity "bench";
                osmm:user "Ludrol".
}
GROUP BY ?user

LIMIT 2

Which returns 60 :)

This is what I don't understand. How can the USA trial him for treason? Wikipedia says

Treason is the crime of attacking a state authority to which one owes allegiance

Why would an Australian owe allegiance to the US?

It's quite weird actually: You vote for a party and a local candidate. The local candidate get's into parlament directly while the rest of parlament is filled proportionally to the general cast vote if they manage to get over 5% of the votes (this does not apply to direct winning candidates or recognized minority representing parties). With parliament resizing to accomodate for at least your direct candidates to represent your percentage. Which always made me wonder, if everyone votes for just Party A's direct candidates, but they get 0% of the general vote, would all other parties then have to get infinite extra positions? That would result in an infinitely big parliament, which basically means every citizen is now in parliament, and kinda get's around the fight over universal basic income, right?

I don't really care about US politics, but I find data quite interesting. Now I would not say this is outright false, but highly misleading. A quick search led me to this csv of to whom minors were released: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nytimes/hhs-child-migrant-data/main/data.csv Running a quick script on my phone, 41.7% of the 553321 children were released to a parent, and further 46.7% to a blood relative (brother/sister, aunt/uncle, grandma/pa). So only 64340 were in the other category, which includes family friends, other distant relatives and unrelated sponsors.

Now I will not go into if 64 thousand children is "good enough", or doubt that many of them work. But it is not a problem exclusive to unacompanied minors. I would think that if parents force their children to work, that is regardless of if they came alone or with their parents.

I would say the tweet is highly missleading, because it makes it seem as if there are 400 thousand abandoned migrant children working in the US.

An other fact to consider, is that in 1860 the US population was 34 millions while it currently sits at 335 million. So comparassions of absolute numbers in a historical context are usually not a good idea.

The timing is not valid and the two encoding bytes aren't the same. So that's probably why you can't get it to scan. Plus the mask is all off because there is a big blob on the lower right corner. With a lot of effort you could probably read something which probably would be random bytes

If you don't want to be allowed on the stage again: "The pope song" from Tim Minchin is a bit over 2 minutes and has an over 30 fucks/minute score. And it only has a 2 second instrumental break.
