Me wondering for 4 hours why Windows 98 isn't booting.

Yeah I'm stupid.

Man this used to be all the time on discord and now I cannot even touch the platform without going through some Facebook level verification nonsense.

I do miss all my friends though to be honest with ya.

Honestly I can agree with this full heartedly. Like even if I am a-bit chubby atleast I'm not real life stick figure.

I like to look up app recommendations and also just dig deep into the app store.

I found a lot of cool software and apps that are paid once and have forever.

Compared to the podcasts apps that will literally attempt to kill you with video ads while driving.

Apparently according to that one app review.

I live in America so I know a 30 year old that lives with her parents because of how unaffordable things are here.

Honestly this meme does not work today. Probably best to replace it with someone's else's mother that looks way younger for her age but is actually in her mid 40s.

One could truly say in America that they did fuck your mother though at this rate. I know someone who did though unironically.

My brain likes to hallucinates the bump map textures from the Xbox 360 era and hard line non pixelated shadows.

As someone who used to have a Windows on Arm device. It was Hell. Basically anything that isn't Lenovo or from Microsoft will mean it'll eventually brick itself unless you steal drivers from other laptops. You also cannot reinstall the operating system because most of these nuggets have no device tree files in the firmware of the machine minus a few lenovo thinkpads. So that means when you try to reinstall windows there is a high likelihood your touchpad and keyboard and USB ports don't work. I literally snapped the motherboard on my poor Samsung Galaxy Book Go in half over it suddenly bricking itself. After a Windows update that I could not recover from.

Anyway if you want a decent windows on arm laptop buy lenovo and replace the storage. They have replacable nvmes usually. Also don't get the 8 gigabytes of ram versions you literally will have programs just refuse or just force close themselves out of existence. You will literally have to debloat windows upto even removing Windows Defender and stopping most background services and disabling sysmain because it's broken. You'd also have to disable certain things in Windows defender like memory protection if you want things to work right.

Also https://armrepo.ver.lt/ Is a god send for finding arm windows software.

Keep in mind though most web browsers as well that aren't Microsoft Edge will have rendering issues on older snapdragon socs.

You know if you really wanna rock the most powerful CPUs out thereonly to end up breaking it and using your 2017 spectre. Even if its like literally 10 times slower because atleast it just works.

I legit have trauma over this.

I have a very smart cat but he uses that intelligence to uh get my attention.

He'll groom himself in a mirror only to look at me in the mirror and be excited when he sees me when he turns around to come at me.

He also likes to find ways to get my attention like getting in things or knocking stuff over or scratching things or sitting on papers or my laptop or things. If I have a pillow in my lap or my laptop he will also find every possible solution to get as close to me as humanly possible. He is also very careful about not scratching me when he is on me or I pick him up.

He gets so annoyed and angry when I have a laptop or like block his approach in some way like just walking around or standing. Wherein he starts to run around and meow softly at me. Having zoomies and hiding in drawers or around corners when I'm walking around to just attack me with his softpaws to get my attention.

I love him a lot.

I've never had this issue. Though to be honest I have an industrial motherboard that isn't prone to failure and has to be configured manually for literally everything on the machine in the bios. Currently rocking 48 gigabytes of ddr4 ram running in fucked quad channel with a core i5 9th gen and an RX 6600. Running Linux as Windows 11 literally halves my performance in games.

I've quite literally shocked my motherboard and forced shut it down several times and it does not care. It also has PS2 keyboard and mouse ports and a single PCI slot alongside serial and VGA on the back. Yes I try to avoid shocking my electronics and genuinely try to be careful with them. Kinda hard when your power cuts though. Or you think that blanket you have on would be fine to wear in the cold while you are repasting.

The thing is also neat as in it has a backup bios when I was modding my BIOS I really appreciated because it meant you could always just flash the motherboard without desocking and reprogramming the bios chip.

You also have to configure where the thing boots and how the ram works as well. Or else it will just refuse to boot past the bios. Oh yeah and enable settings specific to your CPU and what it can do.

Whenever you reset the CMOS it has a default password which is just password as well.
