ChatGPT give some pretty generic DnD advice. I can't wait until they make a terrible automated DM. I can't wait to play the most generic DnD of all time.

I like the changes with weapons properties and I like some of the updates with various classes for some improvements to the weaker subclasses and feats. I overall enjoyed the majority of the changes.

However, from what I have heard and seen I did not enjoy the changes to the Monster Manual and statblocks.

Gross. I was really excited for 5.5 for a while but don't really want to get it anymore. I liked the PHB class upgrades when I read it but don't own anything from it yet

I love Christ Perkin and Jeremy Crawford. Who is even running D&D now? They are literally the only people I knew still on the project. They are both great. Were they forced out of WoTC?

Do you have a good brand recommendation? Or something to look for? My wife always complains about how tub being too small and she is tiny compared to me. I can never fit

A couple of years ago I read Salt: A World History which as expected was about salt. A large percent of the book was about how salt was used a preservative and talking about how it was done. This included recipes and examples of "domestics work" throughout the ages. Its easy to forget about how of this "housewife" work included preserving and rationing the food to last all year. This included a lot of different passage about how to butcher and then preserve different animals, not to mention, cheese making, pickling, fermenting etc. A lot of this work is highly specialized and labor intensive. So of course this man needs a wife since he wasn't trained on these skills.

I was wondering if he was coming back. Really the most important character

Elon Musk is considering suing Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after Walz accused him of performing a Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration.

Musk’s gesture, where he placed his hand on his heart before extending his arm outward, sparked controversy due to its resemblance to historical fascist salutes.

The Anti-Defamation League deemed it an “awkward gesture” rather than a Nazi salute but acknowledged public concern.

Musk, who owns X (formerly Twitter), responded to calls for legal action by saying, “I think I will.”

Summary

Twin Cities Pride raised over $50,000 after cutting ties with Target over the retailer’s rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Target ended anti-discrimination efforts and programs supporting minority-owned businesses, prompting backlash.

The Pride group, which had Target as a sponsor for 18 years, prioritized sending a message over financial concerns.

Target’s move follows a broader corporate shift away from DEI amid pressure from the Trump administration, which has aggressively opposed such policies in both the public and private sectors.

Summary

In Minnesota's evenly split state House (67-67), Republicans have temporarily seized control by exploiting a judicial ruling that disqualified a Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) legislator, giving the GOP a 67-66 edge.

Despite the lack of quorum and an upcoming special election likely to restore the tie, Republicans unilaterally elected a speaker and are blocking another DFL candidate certified as the winner after a recount.

Critics label this a "coup," reflecting broader trends of minority rule and disregard for democratic norms.

Legal challenges are underway to restore balance.

I am working on getting all of the information off of Facebook before I delete it forever. I used Tagged Photo Exporter to get all of tagged photos off of Facebook but I can't get videos I am tagged in to download.

After doing lots of googling I found lots of different websites that were suppose do this for me but none of them work. They either don't work or download the same incorrect video. I have tried using the mbasic techniques to get a "Save as" template that is not working. Anyone have any luck getting this done recently? I assume Facebook is trying to make this more difficult since people are flocking off of the site. These are videos I uploaded but rather those I am tagged in.

My wife just had her first pregnancy doctor's appointment and I am feeling under prepared. I am looking for worthwhile and hopefully empirically based books about pregnancy and parenting. I normally have no problems doing my own research and scourging the library to find out what I need but there's so much it's overwhelming.

So what books have you all read that are worthwhile? What is worth looking at?
