Yeah I don’t think teens are particularly pro-Palestine or anti-Israel.

Teens throughout history have just been anti-war and anti-killing-children.

Do they not have children?

Hot take: people who don’t like code reviews have never been part of a good code review culture.

It’s even funnier when considering they could suggest climate denying policies and still don’t.

They have no platform. Literally. Not even a regressive one.

Having worked at quite a few startups that grew to LTT’s size, there are basically two kinds of CEO/COO; those who want to drive the culture, and those who don’t believe in corporate culture.

I feel Linus is of the second brand, and I’ve seen it enough to know that culture emerging in those conditions get out of control and becomes almost impossible to rectify.

Good luck to LMG, but the top is where culture starts.

That’s why you don’t write a virus for Linux…

Lack of exposure, poor education and indoctrination, mostly.

Wait until you learn about the government. To get your birth or marriage certificate, my county requires that you go to a totally shady URL of a private company that actually is in the business of printing those and shipping them, for a fee of course. Oh and enter your SSN and ID please, without knowing if there’s any security standards they follow.

Am I the only one spooked that the government would not keep those records itself??? And ask a private entity that returns almost nothing if googled by name?!?

Unpopular opinion? Mastodon is a better Twitter than Lemmy is a better Reddit.

So many duplicated communities in Lemmy makes managing subscription impossible.
