While this is technically an anime, I would argue the style and topic makes it more of an animated series that uses Japanese animation styling.

Honestly, I would even recommend Dallos if you don't like anime.

A lot of Purple Disco Machine tracks have that "special something" feel to them.

That being said, Love For Days is exceptional. On the surface it's a pretty typical funk inspired love-themed house song, while also having a subtle psychedelic edge to it. 😁

I enjoyed season 1 and I generally dislike the "streaming company does a series based on famous sci-fi author's work" format.

Btw, if you go in without any expectations, The Fly II is decent. Just don't compare it to the Cronenberg release and take it for what it is.
