The one that blew my mind is that plate tectonics is only a widely accepted theory since the 70s.
I was big into downloading before streaming services were a thing. Music streaming is one of the few services that's totally worth my money: no hassle and I rarely have to resort to other platforms to find what I want (very different from video streaming, which totally sucks when it comes to that).

Even then, there is no single coffee flavor. The bean and roasting make a big impact, although the darker the roast, the more alike the coffee becomes. Dark roasts have the typical coffee flavor, while lighter roasts make the bean's flavor more pronounced. They can go from very fruity to very chocolatey. I once had beans that smelled like blueberries!
Brewing method also impacts the flavor profile a lot. Espresso packs the most flavor in a single sip. Filter and immersion brewing mellow the flavors out a bit more. I tend to prefer that over espresso. Allows me to enjoy the coffee longer and gives a bit more 'space' to discover subtleties in the flavor profile.
Reddit used to have this functionality too (RES would expose it in the UI). Later they removed it and only showed if a comment was controversial. Very refreshing indeed to see the up and down votes again!
This is top notch cycling infra, even for the Netherlands. You rarely see them this wide.

I work in IT and we have truly self steering teams without formal hierarchy. Not everyone is used to it and IT people can be interesting characters, so it's quite a process to get the team to perform well.

How do you differentiate between a small instance where 10 votes would already be suspicious vs a large instance such as lemmy.world, where 10 would be normal?
I don't think instances publish how many users they have and it's not reliable anyway, since you can easily fudge those numbers.
