That looks super cool! Not OP but thanks for the recommendation!

I agree about 15. I kept thinking I should be able to avoid or dodge attacks and it just didn't feel as good as it should have - same with the car, actually, in that it just never felt as satisfying as it could have. I prefer the feel of 16 or 13 (or even 14) to the weird hybrid that 15 was that was unsatisfying on both the action and rpg fronts.
I did like some of the small details in 15 like the pictures, though.

I think it is very plausible that the numbers only appear to be back to normal. I agree probably nothing will change but at the very least I am not using reddit any more - and I feel like I have seen a similar sentiment from other users of Lemmy/kbin.

Kbin has quite a few of its own posts but a lot is from Lemmy and mastodon, yeah. From my perspective, Lemmy acts like another kbin instance!

Hello, I have made several batches of mead and I really enjoyed it. How much of a difference is there with mead vs cider?

So currently I am using kbin mostly as a PWA on my phone and it takes away the navigation part of the browser. But this is good to know for future reference, thank you!

This is what is so frustrating to me as well! I have visited a few old subs to see where/if they were moving and the amount of people saying essentially "why would the mods do a useless protest" and "nobody cares about kbin/Lemmy nobody is going to switch" is so perplexing to me. I also get frustrated at "this change won't affect me so I just want to sub opened" when I have seen it explained multiple times that a lot of the useful mod tools are built on these API calls so if you want to have well moderated subs, you want this to be worked out! And even without that, just the way that reddit is handling this whole situation sucks.

Where would be a good place to go to learn more about UseNet? Are there any resources you prefer?

Is there a way to see that mastodon post directly on kbin? I'm having trouble navigating to it.

I forget about Vernintide! I haven't played Darktide; is it worth playing?

Looking for suggestions for a game where you can progress coop or competitive. Something along the lines of Destiny or Dark Souls (but with better comp tools like proper matchmaking). I'm open to a lot so tell me what you like!

To be clear I am not necessarily talking about PvEvP (but if there's a game you like with that, hit me with it!)

As long as they don't change too much, a Chrono Trigger remake sounds amazing!

Any suggestions for a game that allows progression via either coop or competitive play? This was my favorite thing about Destiny or to a lesser extent Dark Souls (which I love but I'm looking for something with a bit more meat to the comp side like proper matchmaking). Looking for something I hadn't considered before.

Absolutely agree. Some things need work (really feel like boost and favorite should be switched because imo the button that drops rep and visibility should be next to the button that raises them - it's just mildly confusing from a design standpoint) but so far I think I'm enjoying the interaction more.

That's one of the main things I'm wondering about as well.

It's a little daunting to me that in some cases there are 2 or more communities between the federated alternatives; what's the best way to corral these? I had thought I could perhaps subscribe to Lemmy instances on kbin; is that correct? If so, how? Thank you in advance.

Edit: Well, this is sort of embarrassing but when I was searching for the other communities, I was accidentally searching threads instead of magazines and of course not finding anything so that's the answer as to HOW to subscribe [when it comes to kbin]. My point stands, though, that having so many communities is a bit cumbersome. I guess I will let it percolate a bit and see how it feels.
