Their fur is wet, needs to dry by a fire.

Pedal to the metal and no distractions. Only the silent rage.

3d printed threads and snap connectors are nice, but M3 bolts and nuts are more robust and look dope. They also make the model easier todesign print, since you don't have to worry about tolerances as much.

Hey guys. Just wanted to hear some opinions on the Hero Me system. I personally think it's an neat idea and am definitely going to build one. What do you think? Have you used it?

Short and sweet summary as called out by Gamers Nexus:

  1. Testing methodology sux and results are not sanity checked, thereby misleading consumers.
  2. If errors are caught, they are corrected poorly and acknowledged with asterisks or in description, which does not put enough of a spotlight on it.
  3. Trashing on a small company (billet labs) that makes dope coolers for performing poorly due to improper testing and not retesting because "I don't wanna spend 500 bucks"
  4. Not returning the prototype which was sent to them by billet labs for testing and AUCTIONING IT OFF (allegedly to a potential competitor) at LTX.

Wholeheartedly agree. Wverything else I can understand and maybe even excuse. But auctioning off a prototype that isn't even yours is so far beyond the line. They have turned into another soulless corporation just like Google, Apple, Microsoft etc. And corporations should never be trusted.

It depends how thick and soft the tpu is. If you have a thick enough and soft enough case, it will absorb an impact. Just like silicone cases do. And they are also solid.

Hi all! I need a high temperature (~200C) motion system for ahem reasons. I know that at those temperatures steppers tend to cook, so keeping them inside the heated chamber is out of the question. I have already considered belts, screws (lead and ball) and stainless cable. Belts will not work because they will melt. Screws do not allow for static motor mounting and stainless steel cable has slip and extreme tension. Do you guys think chains and sprockets will work? Are they precise enough? Any input is welcome.

The best part is that it's a coffin. Even if they get to the surface, they are still bolted in from the outside. Also it has no flares, no redundancies, no balloon that floats up, absolutely no backups in case anything goes wrong. No reasonable person would look at this and think: "Yep! Perfect excursion for my vacation!"

God the ads are awful. If they start blocking apps like Vanced and Browsers like brave, i will make a PiHole. And they can never block it.

I am fairly tech savvy. It took me some time to understand the fediverse and how it works. The thing is, you need to read stuff to understand. That is well above the capabilities of like 80% of people. Oh, and you won't believe how many people I have met that have no idea what a server is or how email works. Trust me, the bar for entry is pretty high for the average joe. It's a good filter though.

Some subs have already decided to go indefinite. They are coordinating in r/ModCoord.
