This is what it looked like before I started adding blue and grey to the sky.

I'm trying to get the landscape figured out. I started with brown for the whole paper, but I forgot what I was going to do, and ended up making the grassy hills. I tried to get something going on the sky, it looks browner in the photo than the actual paper.

The texture is the paper. I'm using some metal strapping I cut and bent, the texture shows more when I'm pressing harder while sliding across the paper

Thanks for the ideas. I've been looking at scenes of fields (photos) and watercolor fields. I don't really see how to change what I have to give it the correct effect of depth, but I think I have an idea of what to do for a next try. I'm going to tinker in sketch book with colors and shades to see if I can figure this out.

Working on this, and looking for some hints to make the hills in front above the grass, look more like rolling hills. Any tips are appreciated.

This was done with acrylic paint, paint brush, metal package strapping edge, and a toothpick.

CMF 2 Pro phone by Nothing, built in camera app. I guess the ISO adjusted itself. I never noticed it before. I just checked, looking at the export settings and moving the camera around it self adjusts. I didn't see any settings to change that.

I've tried making some dark shadowy trees before, using pencil and more digitally. I like the shape and how it looks. This is my first with paint and i like how it came out (except for the smudge to the left).

I put enough paint in the blade, that was the effect I was going for. The texture is from the paper. I know my"art" is strange (my wife tells me, and I realize it), but I enjoy making it. Thanks for asking.

Wow. That looks so good. You painted that whole outside? I'd be so distracted by everything.

Nicely detailed. It looks like it would take a lot of time and concentration.
