I was cleaning out a chemical storage closet at work. A hydrogen chloride container leaked out onto some iodine containers. I picked one up (bare handed) and sat it down in the grass. About thirty seconds later, I noticed the steam boiling up from around the bottom of the container. This is about 45 seconds worth of contact.
To be fair, this works with humans, too.
When I got out of the military, my outprocessing included a briefing about how to get interviews with federal organizations. The automated systems at USA Jobs would register a match to the job description and rate you as a better candidate and the human screeners were so overworked that they would just go with what the computer says without checking.

Bitwarden is fine with me, but a company needs to earn my trust before I let them have that kind of information. Most companies out there just aren't trustworthy enough to hand that kind of data to.
