I've got bad news for you, it's not just EVs.

Going to add to the climate argument, but thrown in a personal realization. I used to only buy rwd manual sporty cars but put snow tires on them in the winter. This was fine until I moved to a location that rains 9 months per year.

It was then I realized heavy torque, rwd was miserable here regardless of the tire choice. I've been buying AWD since. But it took me basically a decade to figure that out.

FWIW I still put snow tires on in the Winter, but I ski.

K... This is just not true. Plenty of AAA games run well on the steam deck. Currently installed on mine, RDR2, cyberpunk 2077, horizon zero dawn, Forza horizon, uncharted legacy of thieves, the last of us, and for funsies I just started another fallout 4 playthrough. I'm sure others have lots of other AAA games they play on their deck.

If it's the exclusives you're missing, like Gran Turismo or something, I think that's a different argument.

I just installed fedora 40. Was absolutely amazed when my three monitors just worked. Installed some games and realized I had forgotten to install the Nvidia drivers. Installed them... Laptop locked up wouldn't boot. Unplugged the third monitor and it started working. Screw Nvidia. Not buying another system with their trash. Fix your driver's you selfish POS

The crazy thing about Nissan, to me anyway, is that they've been doing this about as long as Tesla now and their EVs are barely competitive with new comers like Hyundai/Kia. How are they so bad at making EVs?!

Seems like Fedora Kinoite is getting several votes. Maybe I'll give that a go for myself. I also like the idea of Fedora more since they are starting to offer their own Laptops with pretty nice hardware it seems.

The idea of buying new laptops that all just have proper OS support seems, novel.

Bought days gone (game) on steam. Would not launch on windows 11. Tried to get a refund. But it had been two weeks. Launch d it on my steam deck and it worked great.

So. No.... It's sucks.
