This seems like it opens the door to asking for a mistrial.

Could you share the recipe?
A road built and maintained by taxpayers is much cheaper (to a shipping company) than building, maintaining, and operating a railway. Making taxpayers responsible for the infrastructure you use is one way to make your business much more profitable.
Yes, but that’s all subsidized by taxpayers, so it’s more expensive overall but cheaper for YOU.
“All billionaires will be summarily executed and their assets will be distributed to the citizenry, and the Heritage Foundation will be declared a terrorist organization, and all current and past leaders, funders, employees, and judges endorsed by them will be immediately sent to a prison camp in El Salvador” seems like a winning message.
And anything the president wants only needs an executive order, it seems, so it should be pretty easy to implement.

He himself has said he could run as Vance’s VP, and then Vance could resign. He said it like it was a clever hack he’d figured out. But the text of the amendment specifically forbids it. You can’t be VP if you aren’t eligible to be President, and if you’ve been elected twice, you aren’t eligible to be President.
I suppose he could say he hasn’t been elected twice because Elon hacked the voting machines in swing states in 2024, but at that point why bother?
On top of the continual shift of taxation towards the middle and lower classes we’ve had since Reagan.
The “good old days”the Republicans want to go back to were only good in the sense that the top tax rate was 90% and the rich paid something much closer to their fair share, and the middle class was able to actually have comfortable lives. But they want everyone other than them to be on the brink of economic ruin at all times so that they are more easily controlled.
Don’t keep voting to approve his nominees, for one. Put a hold on each and every one of them. Vote against all of the laws the republicans are putting through congress. Filibuster everything. Basically, act like the republicans have since 1992.
They could start with that.
She wants the company to relinquish its five licenses and instead distribute them to other EV manufacturers, such as Rivian, Scout Motors, and Lucid.

Fahy said that Musk is “part of an administration that is killing all the grant funding for electric vehicle infrastructure, killing wind energy, killing anything that might address climate change.”
“Why should we give them a monopoly?” she asked regarding Tesla, adding that this bill was her “making amends” with her previous support of the company.
They would transfer the licenses that were granted to them exclusively, not eliminate them.
