It’s called the Path and it joins every office building with each other, where each building had a food court or shopping or some other entertainment, and it connects to the trains. It’s great when the weather is bad.

I love Toronto, if you go there is a cool underground walkway throughout the whole city and a hedge maze only obtainable by boat.

Yep my mother and grandfather both went through that shit. It made my grandfather very ambidextrous.

I think everyone’s development experience is different with these tools, we are not letting it just work the ticket blindly based off some prompt, we are having it do small tasks that would normally take a few minutes and are now done in seconds. We don’t allow these bots to commit code, or even the commit message, and the devs are still responsible at the end of the day for the code they commit.

Well I did say you still need to use your skills to check the bots code.

It seems there a lot of people on Lemmy who dislike anything AI. I have no choice at my work so I have to make the best of it as I’m not leaving my job in this economy.

I feel like AI is a 5G language, in that we have moved on from writing code directly to writing md files to command the bots to write the code. It seems like a higher abstraction of the code. It does make you think less about the code directly, and more about the bigger picture, but you still need those skills to check the bots output.

I think she is a bit of a cunt, but she knows how to play the game.

Jackalopes are real.

You have to put it in Ask mode so it doesn’t touch your code also ChatGPT models are free so if you want to ring up an AI bill use the Claude and Sonnet models.

Does anyone know a place to buy used vinyl other than Discogs. I have been using them for a long time and they have really enshittified the experience.

I just got my Framework 16 DIY version and I can’t install the primary SSD because there is a captive screw in the place that holds the SSD down and I can’t remove it so the SSD doesn’t stay held down. There is a screw for the secondary SSD and it comes out. Any ideas?

Update: I got it out, anyone else with this issue, try and pull the screw out it’s very small on the threads so it just pulls out and pushes back in when the drive is seated.

My son just got a job as a trail guide in Estes Park Co. anybody have any equipment suggestions for him? Stuff that most people forget about but is something that has become essential for you. Thanks in advance.
