Just reload the settings page after saving and you'll see the activation link. Just now enabled 2FA for my account.

That makes sense. I totally understand lemmy is still in evolution phase. Let it grow and mature.

I'm just getting familiar with lemmy fediverse and trying to make my way through it after getting out from reddit. I'm trying out liftoff app for android and I'm seeing way more double posts from different instances from same users. Same content from same users on multiple instances. I thought fediverse supposed to, You post in whatever instance you are and it'll be shared among all instances. I'm more confused now.

Thanks It's working and although not a permanent solution, I can manage for now.

Just migrated from reddit to here few days back and I have an eye condition which makes me dizzy when the text scrolls frequently. On reddit, I'll usually refresh the page for new feeds. But on lemmy, the feed is updating constantly which is making me dizzy. Is there a solution to disable feed auto updating?

Word of mouth marketing is the best strategy right now. Look how lemmy user base spiked in recent days. More people will look for alternatives after 3rd party apps stops working on July 1st. In the meantime, spread the word on reddit.

Good riddance. I love turtles and have two red eared sliders long before I joined reddit 10 years back. Just hated making my username based on turtles because of this mod.
