Fully agree it destroys the whole thing and make no sense, it's not in the book either from what I've read (I'm at 85% so close to the end).

The only thing regarding the "cage" is I think it doesn't really cage It, but restrict It to Derry and the area inside the cage from what I understood (until the finale where It is thrown back into the center of Derry which... made no real sense with what was explained until that)

Love the idea, it's a bit what they tried to do on Channel Zero I think, not working based on Stephen King but doing one big story per season. Unfortunately I didn't really got into it, but kinda like the idea.

Loved the show, made me unexpectedly cry during the last two episodes, looking forward for more! Also liked Castle Rock when it aired and I'm really curious about Flanagan is going to do for the Dark Tower

That’s the best proof I see against meritocracy. We were told all those guys were there because they were the brightest and more competent. There is absolutely no thinking or logic in their actions lately outside of social contamination.

Should be done everywhere and for everyone. Can you imagine a society where you don't have to work just to be able to live? The projects you would pursue, how way less power would bad managers and bosses have? It would also help decentralization from big cities as people wouldn't be forced to move there to get jobs.

Also I never realized the toll finances were taking on my stress and mental health until I reached some kind of financial stability. No one should have to endure that much stress just to be able to live.

Yeah, while I understand the move, it feels like an open road to go back to making a fortune for the drop shippers which pisses me off. Also I'm not at ease with the fact that it explicitly target only China

Saw them and really liked them, that’s why I started to watch the show!

I wonder if this will allow only to consumers or will also target dropshippers. Because it the citizen has to pay more while dropshippers still enjoy their shitty practices, it doesn't look great...

Oh that's why I couldn't find it on Steam T_T

I tried to read Stephen King several times across the years and I don’t know, it never worked. Tried his short stories, the different genres he wrote, … a bit of everything. It frustrated me a bit because I loved every single adaptation from his work in TV show or movie form.

As I started watching It:Welcome to Derry, I got an itch to give him another chance as I really wanted to get to finally know the whole story behind. And I don’t know what changed, perhaps I got older and my taste changed, but I’m speeding through It and I absolutely love it, I can’t let go of the book!

I’m just surprised how taste can evolve across time. Might give a chance to several authors I never liked when I was younger!
