Does it count as collecting for digital renting?

I don't get this, though. Less than 200 games in your life? How? Are you a baby? Do you play games for thousands of hours on a regular basis?

Huh? Is calling them a baby supposed to be an insult? 200 games in 30 years would be a lot of games. It’s not like one buy a new game everyday. 6-10 games a year would already be a lot. Most find the handful they like and continually play them.

I own thousands of games and my most played games are in the thousands of hours, but if I boot up a game and play an hour of or two it I'm more than happy with that purchase, especially at a discount price. I spent twenty bucks last time I went to the movies and I didn't even enjoy any part of what I watched.

I’ve never seen the phrase “touch grass” be more appropriate ;)

I didn’t say online presence. I said server stuff. That for me includes family photos and ancestry

Hollywood has long ran out of ideas. They are currently milking every last drop of nostalgia money before moving onto stealing every actors face rights and pumping out buckets of Ai slop next.

Arrr, Hollywood’s well hath run dry o’ fresh tales, aye! They be squeezin’ the last doubloons from memories past, clingin’ to nostalgia like barnacles to a rotten hull. But mark me words, mateys—soon they’ll be pilferin’ every actor’s visage, hoardin’ their mugs like cursed treasure, and spewin’ forth a bilge-swill o’ hollow specters, conjured by sorcerous machines! A pox on their greed—’tis the end o’ art, I say, and the dawn o’ a ghastly puppeteer’s age!

anki flash cards worked well for me. Most of the time is used making the cards then can easily learn anything in less than a day by cramming them.

why do we need a remake

That’s so cool!

Thanks that’s very helpful! I like how you approach lists. Even breaking them down sometimes feels like too much.

It’s interesting that you make the comparison to addiction. Quitting alcohol and starting a task that feels too big honestly does feel quite similar. Maybe because they’re both linked to dopamine?

I find if I start and get in the zone I can do anything. Also, weird side note I find after I have a drink in the evening I weirdly have a ton of motivation but then am slightly impaired lol

I have one after the baby goes to bed but maybe because I don't have it until 9pm or so I feel exhausted the next day...

Edit It’s bourbon but I’m counting standard US drinks.

Not just how non-Buddhist people are finding it useful outside of the Buddhist context but how university health programs are promoting it for general well-being, acting as if they came up with these methods ie Koru.

Piefedi, lemmy, fediverse? I want to share them as reddit alternatives but their naming is super cringe. Did people find Reddit’s naming choice poor in the beginning?

The most painful one to have to reset was Jellyfin. The library.db contains all of your watchtime so resetting it means you have to refund all your spots in tv shows. I did have backups but somehow one of the libraries became corrupted within the db. I tried to make a new db and import the watchtime but that just corrupted it.

I’ll list a few of mine:

  • I keep an organized bag of chargers and power banks in my work book-bag. Super helpful whenever I run low or need a specific charger, especially when traveling.
  • at least one diaper and pad in my bag and car for family members.
  • two screwdriver’s in my bag. One for my eyeglasses and one for normal use. The eyeglass one is rarely used but when it’s needed it’s essentially and a pain if I can’t find one.
