I'm curious to know more about this person who seems to have a lot of influence and control over the content and discussions on Reddit and /kbin. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wonders about this.

I am by no means attacking u/TheArstaInventor, but I'm genuinely interested in his motivations.

Recently, Reddit announced that they may be discontinuing awards/coins on September 12. However I'm skeptical and I think this may be just a deceptive announcement for them to make a quick buck from awards/coins. What are your opinions on this?

Yeah, I agree that nearly everybody doesn't care about the backend but I still believe everybody can learn from the shitty decisions that for-profits make. It's horrible.

It's simple. I'm just against capitalistic corporations taking over our information again. And of course Ads = annoyance/spyware and for-profit = a likely enshittification in the near future.
