Even liberals? Damn, how bad is the ProleWiki situation to let me edit pages?

I am from Turkey and I was wondering if I should or shouldn't join a communist party here, I'm 99% sure it's fully controlled and I would be logged if I ever actually joined but I don't know

There are two options for me:

  1. TIP (Turkey Worker's Party) is socially forward (pro-lgbtqi) but at the same time pro-west with Trotskyite tendencies, it also has 4 seats and 1.8% representation in parliament
  2. TKP (Turkey Communist Party) is a party in not fully sure about, but they call themselves socialist patriots (basically nationalists) and base themselves off of kemalism (red flags everywhere) and they're less prevalent and not pro-lgbt, though they support anti-imperialism (in the way Lenin has explained the term)

They lack a page in ProleWiki and I need to do more homework on it, but I thought it would be nice to have a second opinion on it because I can be very very dumb

I'm open to hearing more and especially from my Turkish comrades that can help me out further

I was logged out, and I watched some shorts.

It was about how Nazi's had a protocol to shoot their higher ups if ever captured

The comment section called them heroes, and how they had patriotism, how human they are, and not a single mention that, well, were Nazis.

I would have never expected this type of response in comments on a video that you can see whilst not logged in, millions of views and not a single person debating if they can be considered heroes

Cool idea, probably would be fun as fuck to go around the world, if it is co-op then it would be amazing to play together

It's possible, but it would be slow and need a lot of cooperation, I wouldn't know where to start.

As we know, racism is very logical and will immediately stop if we just cooperate with them and stop waving foreign flags! /j

If you're in the majority, you have the votes to be able to accomplish something with reform. It's not like we live in a monarchy, reform is possible under our system.

If reform isn't working to bring about your goals, either your goals aren't popular enough, or they are popular but the people lack the will and organization to vote for them.

If the people lack the will and organization to vote effectively, they certainly lack the will and organization to topple the government.

My area of expertise is managing complex systems and change implementation. I sincerely don't understand how revolution is supposed to work where reform doesn't. No one has been able to give me an answer that doesn't bill down to idealistic hope. How is this revolution supposed to be implemented, and why can't we build the foundation for revolution while simultaneously using the tools we have for reform? Wouldn't widespread support for reform be the best possible proof of consensus?
