His point around 7:20 is very important. It's a trap of which I am definitely a victim:

" 'Just hit accept and play. You aren't important or powerful enough to spend brainpower on this.'

It's not about whether or not I believe that there will be a societally important reason that I personally sue Blizzard [...] It's about this very slow erosion of rights and the lowering expectations. "

My expectations of corperations is eroded as fuck mane. I literally accept that they are taking advantage of me because 'that's just how it is'.

Exactly... and on the flip side, standing up for workplace injustice is a sign of insubordination and is punished. Even objectively discussing power dynamics gets a negative/uncomfortable reaction in my experience.

Makes sense. If you're willing to take advantage of others, you can get advantages.

And these days, retaliation against adult bullies is not so straight forward.

Oh? God told you to take their homes away? With violence?

That changes everything! Please continue.

Wow! There is an enormous lack of humanity behind this practice.

Yeah I was on board until the tik tok part

This is the real crux. Nowaday, I feel I can only do good through personal and community work. Professional work mostly involves being told to cut corners, mislead people and jack prices to grow the company infinitely.

While, frankly, I think infinite growth is one of the most damaging ideas in human history

It's a so-called "Reaction Image". An image representing the OP's reaction to the post.

This is wildly fucked up. Why are they literally using terrorist tactics?

I remember this from the hip hop scene. You know you've fallen off when nobody is sharing/pirating your album
