Yea after wasting a lot of money on repelents and creams , I realised just closing doors after 5 pm and netting the windows was the best solution. I also use net tent for my bed.

You can look into shelter app on fdroid that uses work profile to isolate any installed app in that profile form your contacts or sms or any data.

The only downside is you can't use other vpn or privatedns for encryption.
