Same here - was real careful for years and got it for the first time a few weeks ago. Stuff still doesn't taste right.

After after we lost the PM that went for a swim, we proceeded to name swimming pools after him.

Nicolas Lubitz, a PhD candidate who studies marine predators, said he could only assume the shark gobbled up the echidna while it was swimming in the shallows off the island, or travelling between islands, which the animals are known to do.

TIL echidnas can swim

In Norway you don't break stride as a pedestrian, so any number above 0 seconds is unusual at a zebra crossing. There's always this "oops I'm not in Norway anymore" moment i have as i consider trying the same shit in other countries.

We had this ad playing constantly in the 90s and for some reason I want to see it again. It was that special brand of terrible corporate "rap" of the time. The laces were colourful and curly I think.

Anyone remember this and have a link to the ad? Sorry for vague childhood memory.

This is a weird phenomenon. Feels a bit like how focusing on "welfare queens" / "dole bludgers" can pave the way for similar privacy erosion (and welfare cuts) even though its a tiny percentage of the people. Seems a short hop away from "if you've got nothing to hide...."

Having a central committee of approval sure sounds like communism to me.... /jk

Seriously though, we are all going to want different stuff in All. As a user I would like the choice to block an instance, or not.

Under current Italian law, the member of a same-sex couple who is not legally recognized as a child’s parent could lose custody if the legally recognized parent dies or the relationship ends.

Shameful, hateful shit. What the hell Italy.
