Lemmy is much more fun since Hexbear joined, leaving lemmy.world is the best decision I made since I came to the fediverse.
Are downvotes disabled at Hexbear?
Finally, I don't understand why it took so long.
Have you ever heard of Capitalism?
I work most of the day and when I finish I have little time to share between studies, chores, family, partner, friends and games. Maybe during the weekends I can play more but I don't have the time I had during uni.

you’re definitely living life wrong.
Pay me a salary and I'll stop wasting my time going to work so I can go play games.

I'm really tempted to buy it, but I have little time to play nowadays. It seems like the kind o game that you need to invest time to enjoy.
First job I wasn't experienced enough (kitchen porter at a busy restaurant).
Next and last one my coworker was going to sue the boss for sexual assault and part of the crew including her were planning on suing for laboral exploitation (false contracts, unpaid hours, etc). The boss heard about it and fired us and threatened to sue us for bullshit (for staying after closing drinking, it was a pub so is something normal and some coworkers that were there but didn't want to sue didn't have any problem).
There's also people that create multiple accounts in different instances and end up using just one.
Just created an account here! I've been on Lemmy since the Black Out, at lemmy.world.
However I wasn't happy with Lemmy.world admin decisions concerning defederation (They didn't want to preemptively defederate Meta but they did it with some socialist instance) and inconsistent uptime. Lots of people are recommending this instance, so I decided to move here!
I'm European and I have 1 month across all the year. I took 1 week during spring, 1 week in July, 1 week in August and I have another week for the rest of the year.
I couldn't say "hey, I won't show up during the whole month".
