Reddit's post was distinctly non-specific about the dollar amounts people can expect to see

Lol, so basically "we might give you money if we feel like it".

Finally a normal safe corporate response rather than further digging a hole for themselves.

The fact I'm getting asked to leave a tip before the service is rendered is what drives me really nuts. I've tipped on things and got terrible service and there is no way to adjust your tip down (and it can even be hard to increase it if they really do go above and beyond in some way).

Man either the guy really thought he was going to beat this or he just needed a reason to hang on: "...he recently penned the first draft of his upcoming memoir. He had also put the finishing touches on two more Pee-wee movie scripts and was developing projects for television, including a variety show and a western called Fancypants."

Shame those won't see the light of day, at least not with his further involvement of course. That sounds like a ton of work. Source: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/paul-reubens-best-known-pee-170902189.html

the first vehicles with this battery are expected to be hybrids instead of all-electric vehicles. Toyota claims it will be ready for sale in 2027 or 2028.

This tells me we probably need to wait until 2030+ for this supposed 745mile battery.

Xfinity’s 10G network is technically slower than 5G. Peak theoretical throughput on an uncongested 5G network offers up to 20Gbps download and 10Gbps upload. Xfinity caps out at 10Gbps down and up.

In what world are people getting that kind of speed on 5G? In like a lab with perfect conditions and non-consumer equipment? Is this article written by T-Mobile home internet or something? I'll take Comcast 10G over 5G wireless any day and I hate Comcast.

I automatically assumed 10G was short for 10Gb/s, so I guess I found nothing confusing about the name? They literally are advertising the speed in the name, I think that's great compared to when they called shit "Blast" and other weird names.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding karma, but Memmy appears to show the total upvotes I've gotten for comments and posts, isn't that basically karma?

Yeah this is where taxing these negative externalities would help to curb the demand of wasteful products and thus lower waste produced by corporations.

We can't expect corporations to just do the right thing out of the goodness of their hearts, because the products would cost more and the masses would just purchase the cheaper more waste producing products. We need to level the playing field by taxing pollution and waste.

Target is now open until 8pm (7pm on Sunday), where it previously closed at 6pm. I'm excited to not have to rush after work anymore.
