Peer review for a workshop at an AI conference. Seems like one big circlejerk.

Lmk when it happens for a major journal that isn't Elsevier

Edit: what are the implications when an "AI scientist" has to eventually retract a paper due to inaccuracies/hallucinations? Who will be ultimately held accountable? This issue seems like one big ethical gray area.

I was mostly looking to get one of the 7, 8, or 9 models, since grapheneOS plans to support those for the next 7 years

I want to get into grapheneOS, but am not ready to buy a >$500 Pixel phone to try it atm.

Shouldn't matter too much as long as the instance you go with federates with all of the major instances. A lot of Lemmy users generally have a pretty negative outlook on LLMs though, so expect downvotes.

Consumers don't like subscriptions to operate heated seats that are already integrated into the car, for example.

I'll eventually have to buy a new car, yes. But I'll also be looking into replacing the car's cellular antenna with a dummy load if possible. A good car shouldn't depend on cellular networks to be able to function.

Great. Do away with the unnecessary telemetry next.

The democracy you speak of is degrading right before our eyes.

For now. The US is proving to be unreliable on the international stage.

I suspect what we have in common is that we all use Lemmy or Mastodon

I finally got around to trying the Scorpion, but even for settlement raids and surface markers, the Scarab seems overall better in most aspects, especially when it comes to long range combat.

Edit: it seems good at killing sentry skimmers, but you gotta get pretty close because turrets are so inaccurate
