As of this writing, Baldur's Gate 3 updated to 'Patch 4' with a lot of changes. Unfortunately, those changes mean there will not be a standalone 'Patch 4' to update your game. The developers made a lot of changes to the system files, thus not allowing the ability to create a update patch. You will have to download the whole game again with Patch 4 included.

As of this writing, Fitgirl/DODI have not updated to this version. The only torrent one I know of is a Steam version on 1337x by IGGGAMESCOM; full game w/ Patch 4 included.

Just to note: Patch 4 has broken a lot of mods, and has a few issues of its own. Also, from reports here, it breaks Vulkan on Linux. User beware.

Reddit 2.0...already migrating off this censorship.

You can use LASIM app (Windows/Mac/Linux) to migrate your profile and settings to another instance. Highly recommend.

You know who the price hikes haven't affected?

Larian Studios has published the official start time for Baldur’s Gate 3, which is a global release and will be available to players around the world at the same time. Release times can be seen below:

  • 8am PDT (Los Angeles)
  • 11am EDT (New York/Quebec)
  • 12pm BRT (Rio De Janeiro)
  • 4pm BST (London)
  • 5pm CST (Berlin)
  • 1am, Aug. 4 (Sydney)
  • 3am, Aug. 4 (Auckland)

Developer Larian has recommended players who have taken part in early access uninstall their game and delete their save files to avoid issues at launch. Unfortunately, players will have to wait until the release time to start their download of the full game as a Baldur’s Gate 3 preload is not available. The game is also quite large, over 100 GB, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to download it before you start playing.

I don't trust any of these players, especially Adobe, who has always been king of the proprietary shitlords. If they are forming this "committee" or "alliance," why aren't there any open source players appointed?

The man-child billionaire says he is not for censorship, while using the judicial system to censor.

Dude straight up shit himself. I have seen dogs make that same look. Term limits would fix this.

Just something I threw together for shark week, thought I would share.

For this Halloween...the trilogy begins. First time Ellen Burstyn is appearing since the original. William Peter Blatty returns as one of the writers and rumor has it Linda Blair will make a cameo appearance.

Arch user, btw. Isn't Ubuntu going to an all-Snaps version? If so, shouldn't the polar bear be extra bloated?

Hate Ezra Miller? Watch it for Keaton's Batman.

Fake news! Gentoo would still be at the train station loading its cargo for at least a week.

No what you want is unstable Arch which you can freely do by changing the repos, but your user experience will be fraught with pain and issues. You can move to Debian and do the same by running their unstable branches, same results though, most likely a broken system.

Both will get you the newest releases.

KeePassXC is awesome, used it for years. Works great with browser plugin, secure. Sync with Syncthing across all computers and devices.
