Obviously, they'd have preferred not to, hence holding out (pun unintentional! 😁) for smaller, longer instalments, but I suspect KSE went into this deal ready for the worst case scenario

@WorldcupCSR @gunnersaurus @ironeaglebird @poorlydrawnarsenal The trouble is that Arsenal's biggest need is in the midfield, and with PIF owning Newcastle and at the same time backdoor bankrolling Chelsea, and Qatar about to own both Mancs , someone, or several someones, are going to have to go just to keep the financial imbalance from being irreparable
