Thank you; it's been a long, hard road for sure and our kiddos are now grown and doing well. We took the lessons learned and went into foster / adoption and now have a large family which has been a huge learning experience of its own.

VoxeLibre is designed to be very similar to Minecraft without needing to tinker with mods or settings so I would definitely suggest starting there

That said we've ran several different Minetest worlds and our other favorite was Asuna with additional mods

+1 for Minetest

I run a server on our local network that kiddos love

It was fairly simple to setup including which game type and mods

This may help: https://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_listening_to_shame

In short: making yourself vulnerable (such as processing these issues) is courage - it's not weakness

Sometimes us guys need to hear that - I know I personally absolutely hate to break in front of others and that makes processing a very isolating experience that feeds depression unless I'm intentional about that processing

I've ran GNOME for years until this month. Something randomly broke and then on fresh install the dark theme wasn't working correctly. Switched to KDE and everything looks and works perfectly. Think I'll hang out here for the foreseeable future.

Finally made it over to the in-laws to replace a ceiling fan that had stopped working

Shortly after turning 18 I was offered a commission job selling Kirby vacuum cleaners with a fairly large guaranteed weekly pay. I product was high quality and the people interviewing were calm, well mannered and assured that we would absolutely not be using any pressure tactics for the sales.

Day 1 we're taught about how to demo the machine and get to tag along for a couple scheduled sales

Day 2 we're taught how to pressure entry into a home for door to door sales demos...

Day 7-ish a friend of the boss joins the group who is super high pressure and boss gets excited to immediately move that direction

After 2 weeks it was clear that this was exactly the opposite of what I'd signed up for (including the lack of guaranteed pay) so I left in search of something better.

ProtonVPN works great via Wiregurd on Linux as well just not through the GUI; you can download the configs and connect through terminal or other Wireguard client

Trapping is the way to go

Up to you whether a no-kill trap or not though some peanut butter or cheese will lure in the little fella

We've had several get in the house over the years (old rural home) and was even woken up once from one running across us in bed
