So glad they put that thick protective white line there so I know I won’t be hit 🥰

We may not have worker protections but at least we have cheap tasty calorie-dense food

Elon is too busy being angry at trans people to see all this nuance you’re just throwing out there. You think he has time to consider what people are saying or that other people have thoughts and feelings?

My gf worked at a warehouse in San Antonio for a few years, and would get heatstroke symptoms near-daily. I don’t get how this will even increase productivity if everyone’s constantly recovering from hyperthermia.

Where do you get labor from if you injure all your laborers to make a point?

I wouldn’t feel safe in Texas even at an airport making a connection.

God I wish I was as cool and unhinged as republicans think I am.

I want to go back to the 50s because of high corporate tax rates. You want to go back to the 50s because minorities were afraid. We are not the same.

I'll agree with this. I'm hoping this is just a growing pain; considering the large updates that seem to be happening to lemmy's backend recently, I hope this will be addressed sometime soon.

Makes me wonder what reddit’s usage stats will be in late July or early August once things settle into whatever normal they’re going to be. I can’t imagine they can pull good mod tools out of their asses quickly enough to combat the spam that’ll undoubtedly crop up without automod, etc.

I think the question is whether this move will ultimately annoy the regular casual lurkers enough. Will it make an impact on reddit’s stats and reputation or not?
