kind of like ""Children of Men" but people just choosing not to have children. I see people my age in their 40's having only 1 or 2 children and people in their 30's just not deciding to have children at all.

Remember that the 2024 election will boil down the WI, MI, PA, GA and AZ. Whichever candidate wins 3 of those 5 states (minimum) will win the election. It's mathematically impossible to get to 270 otherwise.

This is smart. She’s probably just sitting and waiting for the Supreme Court ruling. By some rare chance that Supreme Court sides the Colorado ruling. Trump is immediately disqualified for running for President and she becomes the nominee by default

No it's just poisoning the people that have no logical thinking and believe anything Trump says.

makes sense. I've noticed since covid a lot of places use Doordash drivers instead of delivery drivers now. It's cheaper and the extra cost goes to the customer

All goverment shutdowns under Democratic control happened for 1 day. The Republicans caused Government shutdowns in 1995/1996 for 21 days in an attempt to cut medicare and social security, 2013 for 16 days in order to attempt to cut Obamacare and 2018/2019 for 35 days in order to build a border wall. I don't even know what the Republicans want now. They are too busy fighting for themselves. But this will backfire on them.

I think lawmakers getting paid during a government shutdown, free healthcare, and only work half the year is more concerning. They get more breaks than I get vacation time at work.

I’ve been telling people for years that the entire 21st century is at risk of being a lost century. Even personally I can’t guarantee my data will be with me 20 years from now even though I back it up. If you care about a photo or document, print it and throw it it a box. As I get older I find more of an obsession with physical media from a preservation point of view. Because I know my books and pictures will be around 50 years from now. Digital files not so much.

I just use Firefox and DuckDuckGo

Remember the 2000 election? That was a close one. One county in one state with a 500 vote difference. 2020 were 5 states with 10k votes in Arizona to 180k votes in Pennsylvania to Biden. If they pulled 13k votes for out of Trump’s ass for AZ and GA he would of still would of lost the election. They key to the White House is the rust belt. Republicans are too dumb to understand this.

I think the US vs Trump will be the trial of the century. Probably the Jan 6th case more than the documents case. Trump will be a case example on why the framers write our constitution for people like him. I only hope the laws of justice uphold. Even by the time a Republican does get into the White House (say 2028) and pardons him, the Georgia state charges still stick (if he's convicted) and he remains in prison the rest of his life

Parental rights start and stop within the household. I don't get why we need to have such a wide ban in schools and libraries. If you don't want your child to read something that's fine. But don't spoil the diversity of books and resources because you're so narrow minded...
