One of the coolest things I’ve ever heard about Office Space is that Mike Judge had a alternate ending where when we check in at Peter at the end of the movie and his new construction boss is just another Lumburg. Which really hit home with the fact that it’s not the office jobs that sucks, all jobs suck.

Yeah his buddies from DOD’s PR and from the NSA. /s Yeah I’d believe that the whole novel really reminded me of a YouTube of some war games.

This is why The Good Place is my comfort show. Chidi’s monologue both brakes me and puts me back together. Every moment in the finale is a work of art but that scene on the couch, there just aren’t words.

Every time someone I know passes I watch that whole episode and it helps me find peace.

Mornings are pretty nice.

I know you’re getting a lot of blow back, but I think you’re not wrong. yeah I really love this /c and think its a laugh but just remember when r/the_donald started out as satire and it was funny too but then it got taken over by nutters who didn’t see the satire, and I’d hate to see that here too.

I’m feeling personally attacked here! I come down on the Boimler side here I think, and I’d hate to argue with Beckett but she’s wrong.

All Star Treks are awesome in their own way and there all my Favourite. I can’t and I won’t be made to pick a series.

Those Old Scientists era is where it all starts and nobody tackles those great social issues like they did.

The Animated Series is so forking batshirt crazy and fun. And they brought us my bois, the Kizinti!

The original cast movies brought Trek back from the repeats. Yes even numbers are better but five got me to ask “Why does god need a starship”

The Next Generation really kicked it in to high gear and expanded the universe.

DS9 - I wouldn’t recommend any long story format higher.

Voyager - if I didn’t love Voyager Janeway would kick my ass.

The TNG movies had some kick ass action and amazing space battles.

Enterprise really explored the beginnings and had a lot of fun filling in the niches and contradictions.

I could keep going on and on but it’s late and I’ll leave you with how I alway feel about Trek series. My favourite one is one that I’m watching right now

So my take away here is that JD Couchfucker here is saying neither he or Trump are powerful enough to do anything. Is that really the message you want to be sending during your campaign for the highest office in America?

Don’t threaten me with a good time, you creepy old shirtball!

I’m really surprised that nobody’s mentioned The Last of Us yet. It really used the uncommon technique of changing POV to really suck me in to its storyline. Right from the start when Joel’s daughter dies in the tutorial it was a gut punch as I had ‘been’ her just a few minutes ago. But the whole story was so immersive I found by the end I was really engaged with the characters and their stories. Spoilers for the end of The Last of Us if you’ve not played or watched the series. In the last big action piece in the Fireflies Hospital on my first play through I shot both the nurses in cold blood because I was so upset about what was happening. I like to think of myself as a ok person, at least better then the kind of guy who’d do that but in the heat of the moment I was so angry I totally empathise with Joel and his desire to kill everyone threatening Elly.

If you’ve doing it, do me a favor. Keep an eye on these guys, 'cause around the 74 minute mark, there's gonna be a room full of grown men crying.

I too enjoy nutting in your wife Hay yo!

A more recent one that really struck me hard was the date lines in True Detective - Night Country.

Dec. 22nd Third Day of Night

It really grounded me how fucking creepy it must be to see the sunset and know it’s not coming back for months.
