BetterTouchTool (which isn't free but is worth every penny) lets you do everything rectangle does. Also lets you configure your mouse buttons to do whatever you want. Also infinite custom hot keys and shortcuts.

Also Raycast as a replacement for Spotlight.

Pretty much anything by Electric Six or Clutch. Honorable mentions to Soul Coughing and VNV Nation.

Karma chameleon, you come and go ⋅ Karma police, arrest this ho. ⋅ Karma's a bitch, it gets a little jumpy when you come near.

-- Electric Six, (It Gets a Little) Jumpy

Like Harry Truman dropping bombs out of the air ⋅ Like any self-respecting multi-billionaire ⋅ This is who you are, five dancing teenage boys ⋅ Who sing their way into our hearts ⋅ Backstreet's back, alright

-- Electric Six, Jimmy Carter

Next thing that I did was tap out Morse code ⋅ With a wooden nickel on the receiver of the phone ⋅ Before I could complete it, I was quickly overtaken ⋅ By the angry spirits of Ronald and Nancy Reagan

-- Clutch, X-Ray Visions

yay! 🫶

Yeah, I had to install a special Yiddish keyboard layout on my Mac.

This site looks like it has you covered no matter what OS you use. :) https://keyman.com/keyboards/yiddish_pasekh

Things I have done with my Pi(s) --

  1. AirplayPi so I can airplay to my non-Apple speakers.
  2. OctoPi so I can interact with my 3D printer via the local network.
  3. Kodi media player
  4. HomeAssistant hub
  5. PiHole network-wide adblocker
  6. I put Tailscale on an older Pi and plugged it in on my parents' network, so I have remote access to help them with their router or whatever.
  7. RetroPi - classic game emulator. Plays just about everything prior to PS2 generation stuff.

Hell yes. My Brother printer is just a solid workhorse.

Might I suggest a "single column" version as well, for the folks on mobile devices? 😁

Absolutely this. They're not competing. They're not the same thing. It's like asking when texting will beat gmail.

One is a private for profit enterprise. The other is an open standard with lots of entities using that standard.

forgive my ignorance, but what's "pop-in" in this context?

[-] skullvalanche@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

oh! that's a good idea... I guess I just figured it would be awkward to clutter up a single community with multiple languages? maybe that's the whole point though. 🤷

[-] skullvalanche@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

ah! that's what I was missing, the patience part of the equation! 🤣

I'm pretty sure there's https://lemmy.world/c/sysadmin already. :)

GPT4all (gpt4all.io)

Anyone played around with gpt4all yet? I've been using it a bit, but the results, while impressive for what it is, fall far short of ChatGPT.
