They cut supply in like September. They were all fighting for market share still, largely driven by Samsung, hence the low prices.

Server shipments were way down because everyone overbought in 2021/2022.

The NAND market has always been an antitrust shit show.

They also drastically cut supply.

Their entire magazine membership was 6,000, presumably a bunch of those weren’t Jewish nor particularly aligned. This wasn’t a trend by any stretch.

Popeyes spicy chicken is so much better than either.

Who wants to bet 100% of these people are anti-Erdogan?

They can pinpoint you almost as well on 4G. This is not a good reason to not use 5G.

Sadly, even with the most recent conflict, that’s almost certainly not true.

Israel has special visa/work permit/asylum process for LGBT Palestinians. I would bet there’s more gay and out Palestinians in Israel than there are in Palestine.

Gaza/Hamas are especially awful relative to the West Bank.

I mean… that’s not quite right. The combined food board stopped in 1946, which certainly didn’t help, but the Labour government made many choices that didn’t help the cause combined with bad luck. Wikipedia certainly doesn't agree with your assessments.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationing_in_the_United_Kingdom#Post-Second_World_War_1945%E2%80%931954

Lend-lease repayments didn’t start til 1951. That repayment plan was 50 years at 2% interest. The US lend-lease plan involved the US giving the UK $31B, that’s the equivalent to $500B today. How that could be anything by a gigantic gift between allies I’m unclear.

That’s a lot of money. I’m sorry you think it was harsh - but it doesn’t read that way to me at all.

More importantly, the US was the one leading the rebuilding of Germany - France and the UK were still trying to dismantle German heavy industry until 1950 or so. The UK (but more especially France) spent more time repressing the German economy post-war (just like post WW1..........) than trying to build it back up.

Then there was the Marshall Plan, which the UK received 26% of the total funds from (about $200B today - and 3% of the GDP of the countries aided).

Basically, your view is quite biased and uncharitable as compared to reality.

Sometimes I want to see things besides hard left politics, Linux and furries. And a huge helping of divorced-from-reality beyond-left opinions from .ml and whatever hexbear is.

And I know I can block all those communities, but you’re not left with a ton once you do. Those demographics are dramatically over represented on lemmy.

As much as I hate to admit it, I’m considering it too - not instead, but also. I haven’t been back since Apollo died but Lemmy just doesn’t have the diversity of interests and niche communities yet. It feels really one dimensional sometimes.

This is just not true.
