I don't know... I get that rule 1 and 16 are just edgy humor, but I can't imagine what she's satirising in this message. What other crackers ask people to only call them 'Mother'?

Do not ask about cracks or technical questions

So then what are you supposed to do on this Telegram channel?

What does this script do? Looks like the results of an ls command to me

From what I understand, isn't this site's Z-Library content taken from the torrent dumps when the site originally got taken off the clearweb? In that case, won't it be a bit out-of-date?

So, these statistics apparently come from StatCounter, a web analytics company. I know that this is probably the best way of collecting usage metrics for the entire Internet, but I think this is less efficient for counting Linux users - after all, I would say that the proportion of Linux users who also use content blockers is pretty high. Even if it weren't the case, most distributions ship with Firefox pre-installed, which automatically blocks trackers out-of-the-box.

Also, wouldn't this also count an embedded device with a WebView as a "Linux user"? For example, smart TVs have a web browser, and typically identify themselves with a "Generic Linux" user-agent.

I'm currently using Yattee, but it relies on Invidious to access YouTube, so I always have to switch instances around to get videos to load. It's also pretty unstable.

Awesome! And it also looks like search functionality has just been restored, so it's business as usual for now. I hope that the other instances get patched soon, though - is there any way of knowing what version an instance is running?

They switched their singlelogin TLD a while ago. The new one is .re

You're right that Fairphone's supply chain is not fully sustainable. In fact, I remember reading an interview with the founder where he admitted that poor sustainability and labour practices are so entrenched in the industry that it was impossible to actually make a "fair" Fairphone. (Incidentally, this is why the company uses the word "fair*[er]*" to describe the phones.)

Yeah, I would definitely agree that a used phone is a much more environmentally-friendly choice than a brand-new one. The amount of customers who are going to ditch their 1 or 2 year old phone for this "sustainable" phone will unfortunately not be zero...

I think that these rules are unnecessarily over-complicating the problem. IMO, the best solution would be to amend copyright legislation to include a similar clause to the one found in the 'fair dealing' exemption of many Commonwealth countries - i.e "Can the work or adaptation be obtained within a reasonable time at an ordinary commercial price?" If not, copying the game is not an infringing act.

Man, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a whole writeup about Empress, and she used to be 10x as psychotic

Lol, this sounds like a grandma complaining that Facebook is deleting her posts

New Windows release already? Looks like Microsoft has realised that its old model of selling major upgrades was more profitable than the Windows 10 strategy.

Hi there, I'm from Singapore and I'm trying to fix the battery on a Samsung Galaxy Active3 smartwatch. However, I can't seem to find any sellers for replacements - Samsung doesn't seem to sell any non-appliance parts, iFixit doesn't ship outside the US, and I can't find any for sale online.

Besides this watch, I tried to replace the back glass on an old burner iPhone, and couldn't find a good enough replacement that would ship at a reasonable time, so I had to resort to AliExpress. The glass is fine, but the print on the back looks off, and the adhesive that came with it feels like it could come off at any moment. I was wondering if there are any distributors in Singapore/SEA that sell higher-quality spare parts? Thanks
