Idk who the creator is or how this is generally perceived by women, but it is interesting to see women displaying misogynistic behavior after revolution against men for the same. It’s like a fucked up sign of progress.

I presume this is also more “eco-friendly”?

I’d say systemic. Long history. I wouldn’t be surprised if people in congress and senate had been corrupted by cartels. There have been accusations towards past presidents. Sure some of it can be from threats to their lives or lives of loved ones. Just saying the corruption exists throughout their government.

The Swiss have very strict rules. Not hard to piss them off.

[–] venusaur@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

Not that they could accurately identify who is corrupt, but there are definitely politicians in bed with the cartel.

Yeah people drumming up fear about AI are mostly just ignorant, but there is validity in the massive increase in processing power required and its effects on the environment that doesn’t get talked about as much. Maybe AI can help us solve some of those problems when in the right hands.

Oh for sure that’s how I code these days. I tell ChatGPT what I want, get some code, plug it in, come back with bugs, get new code until I can either tweak it myself and/or I’ve accomplished what I needed.

At even lower levels, lava

I guarantee you it’s not the only thing she self-conscious about. Just let her be who she is and love her for her. No need to try to change her. Doesn’t sound like she’s doing anything unhealthy with the stockings. There might be other things tho?

At a high level, the same

Yeah I think each company will have models specializing in certain things until we have to computing power to federate all models together, and/or ASI. Then we’d probably destroy the environment.

Agents seem to be the hot use case right now and it makes sense. Downsize your workforce or free them up by assigning simple, low risk tasks to agents. I don’t code much so I’ll be happy when creating them through prompts actually gets what you wants. I know enough to have GPT’s create code for me to plug in for now.

I’ve heard of vibe coding but in the context of being able to identify music that fits a “vibe”. What are you talking about?

I’ve been trying to fix a whistle from a pair of aerodynamic (plane wing shape) cross bars for almost a month now. I tried the rope wrap, taped up all the holes, different positions and nothing worked. Finally I got the idea of putting a strip of fuzzy weather stripping along the bottom edge to brush the air below before meeting the air above the bar. Turns out it works really well! There’s still a very subtle whistle, but it’s amazing how well it works and for how cheap it is. Hope it’ll last. Good luck!

EDIT: haven’t tried it in heavy rain yet but will follow up

EDIT EDIT: works great in the rain especially because the rain is noisy anyways haha

Hi again. I took the car back to the dealer to re-align and the wheel is still turned to the left a little when driving straight. The tech showed me the numbers and that they leveled the steering wheel.

Is something wrong with my suspension, or should I try alignment somewhere else? Just live with it?

EDIT: when I let the wheel go and I’m going straight on a stretch of road the wheel is off center by about 10 degrees.

EDIT EDIT: called the dealership and they said alignment doesn’t include resetting wheel sensor via obd tool. Crazy.

I’ve been to smaller shops, I’ve been to dealerships, and the only time I’ve ever gotten an alignment done right was after I complained to a general manager. I know alignments are hard with the laser machines. It shouldn’t be a problem, right? Are they just being lazy? I hate having to go back to the shop and wait another 2 to 4 hours to get something done that should’ve been done right the first time.

EDIT: I’ve had this happen with my 2001 QX4 4WD, 2019 Q50 2WD and now with 2019 Atlas AWD

2001 QX4

It has been 90+ degrees where I live and when idling for more than 10-15 min, the A/C stops blowing cold and is humid. Works great otherwise when ambient temps are low and car is moving. The Freon pressure is good. The Enser is old and has some dents, but has been cleaned and looks to be getting airflow. How can I tell what is wrong? Replace the radiator fan clutch? Condenser? Something else? Should also note that the engine temp gets high when on long stretches up uphill highway, but I think that is somewhat normal for an old car, no? Thanks!

Not talking about touching the little guys. Talking about something like limiting sales or buys to $1M per day to curb the leverage these big corps have on the market.

Big guys like Berkshire have so much leverage in the market. They can sell a huge chunk of stocks causing chaos and a huge drop in price, then buy low and profit. The stock market isn’t fair to regular investors. You’re at the mercy of these big firms.

The parts that aren’t free are kind of shiny and up close there are little black flecks like mold.

Thrips?

Rear LSD and open front. When I’m crossed up do I use 4hi or 4lo when trying to brake and gas at the same time? Or doesn’t matter?

Just replaced the rotors and new pads. The pads are semi metallic. I’ve noticed a brief rubbing sound when coming to a complete stop and when lifting my foot off the brake pedal from a stop. Is this normal for metallic pads?
