Different animals have different collective nouns;
- A murder of crows
- A school of fish
- A congress of owls
- A misery of redditors

Also, cows have a lot in common with dogs, behavior wise. I think it comes with being herd animals.

Not a TV show, but one of the Matrix movies (the 2nd IIRC) has Trinity use nmap and a well known exploit at the time to hack into a system.
