I'm not quite sure what we're supposed to glean from this article? Is it a parody site and I missed it? Is the author running compatible hardware? Correct OS version? Did they not read the 500 articles bitching about the features (that are already not part of steam vr) being enabled?

I ask as a straight white dude that generally creates female characters in game and truly enjoy seeing how the game world reacts to the character (if it does) and find it enjoyable to experience challenges outside of those that generally color my world view.
It's cool to be Geralt or Male Shepard but I've seen, read and played that story quite a few times. For my personal enjoyment I'd like to live in a world (especially another CDPR one, doubly so for the Witcher universe) as a female character. It opens up a shit ton of new dialog possibilities and quest choices.
Having played through Cyberpunk multiple times as both male and female V, there's skme truly unique things that they do that are only possible by leveraging the PC's gender when interacting with the world.
I know one of those 2 games will be asymmetrical multiplayer based on Boss Games being the dev.
I hope the other isnt MP. We need more single player games based off classic horror IP.

I am not sure if tfc (team fortress classic) still has servers running in any capacity, but it was one of the forefathers of role based, team shooters. It's influence and by proxy TF2's is still huge in competitive gaming.
Those games defined my late teens and early 20's.

So I decided to jump into some call of duty whatever the most current one is now that it's free on game pass.
The first two matches I was spawned into were on shipment. A map that I remember being absolute trash back in the day but it still is. The third match it went to put me in dropped me into that same map as well so I quit before it finished loading. Following this it dumped me into a match in progress where my team was behind by 25 points and there was 12 kills left before it was over.
My question is, why do players seem to vote for this map over any other option most of the time? What is the fun or enjoyment that I am missing out on this box of spam? It's literally nothing but spawn killing and spawn dying.
If you are a person that enjoys these, can you legitimately explain why? I'm not trying to make a troll complaint or anything. Just genuinely interested.
Is this what the modern call of duty experience is like?

I have 6 or so signal threads that are constantly chirping all day and I love it. Seems like such a simple and comfortable place to communicate.
