@Rhynoplaz for me they're actually in right places, for example I leave my headphones at my charging station, on my desk, all the visible places where I work. Nothing really unpredictable, but I still keep forgetting and thinking I put them somewhere else
@hildegarde that's an interesting theory. Might explain why I saw equally both transmascs and transfems on Tumblr, for example, though many transfems are leaving due to Tumblr staff being hostile to them. I also guess disproportion may be caused by transmascs tending to be silent about themselves for various reasons
@cowboycrustation Thank you! I'm glad that there are alive (or at least semi alive) transmasc centered communities on fedi
Hi, I'm just lurking at trans masc spaces on fedi, but decided to comment from my mastodon account, so I hope this comment federates well
I'm a Russian 21 year old nonbinary trans guy who has been 1 year on testosterone. My transition journey is quite interesting because I didn't have as overt dysphoria as it is usually portrayed in media. For example, for me it wasn't pure hatred of my body, but rather going through dissociative episodes. I felt "fine" as a cis woman until I realized that something better could be done.
Most gender affirming items are neckties and belts lol, I'm just a huge fan of suits in general.
Waiting for my moustache to grow 😭, but what I've already got is fat redistribution, some body hair, acne and low enough voice, which used to be one of my main sources of dysphoria, so I'm doing quite well.
With current events and the fact that I'm Russian immigrant in a country that also goes Russia-mode it's quite unpredictable, but I have enough support to not go insane
If you have no money but want to help, you can share this (https://pawb.fun/@vv0ltz/114161760468727380) post around, anything helps! Trans Shelter in Yerevan currently has financial issues and might close if it doesn't reach the goal till April... This is important to me because trans people from Russia suffer from political persecution (LGBT is in list of extremist organizations, trans people have zero protection and are also prohibited from getting any care) and can't migrate to safer countries, so their only option is to migrate to a transit country while wait for a visa. Armenia is one of them. Unfortunately it's very hard to get employed there. A lot of them become homeless. This is where this shelter comes to help
