Apple produces hardware for their walled garden, whereas Google imposes their terms on third parties. I can't speak to how this works legally, but thats the main difference as far as I understand.

The half-time of caffeine in our bodies is pretty long, like 6 hours IIRC. Might affect the quality of sleep even if you manage to fall asleep

Holy shit that's annoying. Say I installed Win11 for my elderly parents. They'd get this sign-up screen after I would have thought everything was setup and ready to use.
