Yea this is something I'm dealing with as a self employed young adult now. Its genuinely getting on my nerves when friends in college or younger complaining about being super bored and saying "there's nothing to do!!".

There are certainly times I don't want to do anything but I never have the opportunity of being "bored"

I'm not sure if the rules prevent you from getting invaded by other countries

Yeah flat heads are terrible. They are always the reason if I get injured by my screwdriver.

Firstly, theres no geometry preventing the bit from slipping out. Secondly, greatly exacerbating the first, you need to press hard to prevent the bit from camming out, which increases the risk of it slipping out.

Both problems combined causes the bit to slip out with very high force. If you happen to be holding the workpiece, you can injure yourself real bad.

I fucking hate flatheads.

But then you run into the dunning kruger effect. Way too many assholes and idiots with obscene amounts of it

I CANNOT agree more. Its just filler. I dont wanna backtrack to the middle of fucking nowhere for this resource that can only be found there. I hate fetch quests in games, and in survival crafting games, the entire game is a fetch quest

Depends if the achievements are good. A boring and bad achievment is something that is simply tedious, and isn't hard. Like jumping in a specific spot 200 times. That's stupid as hell.

I think a good achievement is "beat level without X ability". Something that forces you to adapt and change your playstyle.

I also don't think games should have hundreds or THOUSANDS of achievements, cause accomplishisng any of them feels like pissing in the wind.

Id much rather have 50 super difficult achievements, so each one feels impactful and rewarding.

What else do you expect him to do that will make an ACTUAL change? You HAVE to make some concessions when collaborating with large entities, and I think we are lucky that Louis can stay true to all of his beliefs with a large backing like FUTO, even if they aren't perfect.

I feel like I've seen stories like this before, how a popular YouTuber, or advocate isn't "perfect". People in the comments provide a "perfect" alternative, they are usually super niche and super underground. Certainly someone that hasn't yet had the chance to come under the same amount of scrutiny.

We need to be a little compromising to avoid cannibalizing our movement to achieve "purity" of our ideals, while corps continue to take ground. My two cents. Stop the bleeding first, before you worry about scars.

About the latter gay person in the post, its genuinely exhausting to deal with someone so opinionated. Say something that they might interpret as having the "wrong" opinion, and they'll spend like half an hour trying to educate you.

Its attatched to the toilet paper dispenser. Ive literally looked at it multiple times a day for like 10 months and my brain never noticed

Anyone else feel like theyre one step from being blind? I always lose so much shit in plain site. Sometimes I leave a wallet on my desk, which I use daily, and I can't find it for days. I'll even MOVE IT and not realize its my wallet.

I see a lot of people blaming tiktok and "brain rot" content for the increasing ADHD diagnoses, but I think its a matter of better detection, similar to how OCD and autism diagnosis have increased too.

Also as someone with ADHD, it feels like shit that it could be "my fault" or that I have brainrot.

I wish I never told anyone I worked or studied tech. Especially older family and friends, because their requests for help are relentless.

A lot of friends are chill with it, and I don't mind doing a little bit of help, but sometimes people are who are OFFENDED when you don't want to help. In the same way a contractor friend won't remodel your home for free, I am not going to fix every single issue you have with your computer for free. I'm happy to give advice, but i'm not going to work for hours without pay to fix everything.

I've become the tech guy, and family are extremely entitled to my services. My mom especially. BTW I can't cut her out, because I still live with her and she EXPECTS me to fix anything computer related. She won't take no for an answer.

I've tried to keep track of her passwords with a password manager, I've spent literally 8 hours in a single day filling out captchas and replacing passwords, and I've spent even more time trying to teach my mom how to use the manager.

She CAN'T learn it, and always makes a new password, which she doesnt keep track of and expects me to fix it. What the hell do it do? She uses firefox, with auto refill on, but it doesn't autofill on her iphone.

Assuming the FDA and regulations don't exist. Also no normal food.

Trump has stated he will cut American aid to Ukraine, which makes a majority of total aid. Recently Zelensky stated that if Ukraine's only hope for sovereignty is its own nuclear arsenal, they will build it.

Utterly stupid little things, its money that is less useful in EVERY situation and expires! Even at the store where you can use it, what do you do with the money that's leftover but too little to spend? Especially at expensive places, you could very well end up with 10-20$ OF YOUR OWN MONEY, that you can't even use!

I was given a dunkin giftcard for volunteering at a repair cafe. First of all I'm on a diet but secondly I stuffed it in my wallet so quickly I completely forgot about it. The day I remember and go through the trouble of attending such a wretched establishment I was told it expired after I finished giving my order! After such bother to try to use this cursed thing I refuse to return fruitless from my endeavors so I paid with my own cash.

It is now, sulking into my hashbrowns and Boston cream do I realize I am now poorer, fatter and fucking miserable. FUCK gift cards.

I have many interests, if not too many. From cooking, woodwork and computers. Many of my friends are academically very successful but are frankly painfully boring and I sometimes feel isolated around them.

I like to cook when they hang at my house, I'll try to teach them how, some basic tips, etc. As soon as I glanced towards them again I realized they walked off.

This summarizes a lot of our interactions. As we get to a topic I understand and can speak passionately about, they sort of turn off. They talk to each other fine, but it's often internet drama, school drama or sports.

I'm not in college\classes and it seems almost impossible to meet others, especially others that are interesting and curious. I find myself bonding most to adults but it's isolating I can't find others my age.

Is there ever something that happened to a family member that you will ever know? Has anyone gone missing under mysterious circumstances? Is the place next to your great grandmother's friend's dad's house totally haunted?

I think that if an outright war is raging in the comments, let it run it's course. All parties are willing participants, free to disengage at any moment.

The exceptions should be when illegal content is being shared or illegal activity is occurring (CP, doxxing, etc).

It's always frustrating when a juicy argument gets locked because it's "unproductive". I was having a great time watching it unfold, both sides hurling both creative and uncreative insults, oblivious to how low they are sinking to. It's great!
