As a software engineer looking for a new role, the modern interview process is so painful a lot of the time. I've finally had to reassure myself that it's okay to just NOPE out of an interview midway if their poor processes make me think twice about working for them.
This week I was given a live coding test in a plain text editor, with no interpreter and barely any syntax highlighting.
Looks executed a lot better than I expected. Still, just a tad bit too much lighting brightness and contrast for my tastes. I wonder if some of that is adjustable?
