I don't think it's selfish to not want kids. With how fucked the world is, maybe we should be thinking about if it's instead selfish to have kids.

I determined from about age 12 that I didn't want kids. 10 years later and I still don't want them, so I removed the possibility of accidentally having them. The government can't make me have kids - seeing as I yeeted my uterus.

Even worse than your doors getting stuck closed: your vision disappears.

Man, the real problem with smart devices is that most of the time they don't listen to me. I can't count the times that I've had to repeat "Hey Google" 4 times, louder every time, until it finally hears me. And then starts playing music instead of turning off the lights.

In all seriousness I do agree though - it really is a balancing act between convenience and security.

Software programmer. I have a Google Home running because I'm lazy af and like to be able to verbally turn on/off lights. I also use it to combat ADHD symptoms because saying "set an alarm" is less likely to distract me from what I'm doing than pulling out my phone is.

To make the years mirror better maybe? That's really all I can think of. 2012->2021 has the flip of the last two numbers

I don't agree with his viewpoint, but I do respect the mentioning of "separation of church and state." The way I understood his statement was that he personally doesn't support abortion, but that the government shouldn't regulate abortion based on that.

I might have understood wrong though, feel free to lmk if you read it differently
