With how bad air quality has been this year, I grabbed myself a DIY AirGradient kit so I can monitor air quality in my living space. It was easy to assemble and only required a little bit of soldering knowledge. I'm definitely not proficient enough at soldering as many components ended up crooked on the board. Still works though lol.

Going as Mitsuba on Saturday for Tekko 2023! I tried styling a Mitsuba wig for AnimeBoston this year, but I wasnt fully happy with the results. So this is my second attempt. Man styling is hard!! so much respect for people who are pros at this. I think I spent a solid hour trying to get the ponytail right!!

Any of the case options didn't fit my needs. I needed something easy to put together along with support for the encoder I chose. This is the first time working in CAD and while it ended up very simple, it works great!

May just be bias from my experience, but a lot of back end stuff is cloud now. I had to learn how to design, deploy, and maintain Azure resources. Programming is still in C#, but now I have to give extra considerations into the limitations and abilities of Azure Function Apps. To me, it's like a puzzle. How can I design a system to best achieve what the company needs done? Do I use Cosmos DB, Storage Tables, SQL? Every step of the cloud infrastructure design is up to me.
The last part of you post is pretty true though, lots of desktop apps now are just web wrappers. Stuff like Discord, Spotify, Etcher to name a few.

Calrose rice, sometimes add 1/2 cup of brown rice for a total of 3 cups. Wash until water is clear. Put in rice cooker and press cook button :)
If I want it to smell really nice I put in either a bay leaf or star anise.
Obsidian is what I use mostly, it syncs great with syncthing across all my devices. It doesn't have drawing support, so whenever I need to doodle something I end up in samsung notes again.
