I love duck duck go but theres one key thing I've been missing (or don't know how to do) with google you can just throw -word or -"a phrase" and it will ommit any result with them

The amount of moderation actions from those instances were a lot higher than from elsewhere, specifically lemmy.world. With how lemmy.world is now after browsing it for ~5 mins I can confidently say that that would be the case again if we were to refederate

Next? They've already done it with ICE detention centers

"what is the age cut off for socially acceptable fun having" is what I read. Do what you enjoy and anyone saying you shouldn't do X, or you are too old to do Y aren't the type of people I associate with. Just turned 30 and I never plan to stop.

That would lead to having to manually approve every instance by the admins. Mods can't do that so it would 100% be on them to keep up with all the instances

good, scum of the Earth. Time doesn't change who that type of person is and the victim will never forget.

it's a bad judge IMO since people are subbed to multiple places and can be counted multiple times

Looking forward to the Reddit blackout. Hopefully a bunch of new instances pop up and gain traction

Reddit didn't feel like social media either for the longest time until it did.

There doesn't seem to be a manga specific community out there so I figured I'd ask here. I'm currently caught up with the most recent Murata chapter and wondering what kind of interest there would be in discussion here when the next chapter releases

As good as one could hope for a new place with not many users. The framework is there but the crowd is what's needed.
