Every 3-4 years, for at least the last 25 years, the WSJ has run a story like this where someone has finally solved all the problems of flying cars. Lots of people throw money at them; nothing ever happens. If you give two seconds of thought to the horror that would result with thousands of people rising into the air every morning to make their commute, you'd realize how absurd this notion is.

Exactly. Russian conscripts have never been the most enthusiastic soldiers, and hundreds in Rostov have already joined Wagner.

100% true. Putin will survive and will be forced to come to the negotiating table. The war in Ukraine will be over in a couple of months.

Many TV writers are ignorant dorks. Cancer is never "cured," it's "in remission." Cells at the margin that have been excised are biopsied, which can allow doctors to say "the margins are clear." That's what my doctor said to me, looking a little wary. "Why the long face?" I asked. "I don't trust squamous cells," he replied.
