Oh, I am also learning a difficult language (Polish).

I did find a couple of things that can be useful:

  • Buy a dictionary Japanese - (your native tongue), use it to look for unknown words, do not use your phone, alternatively buy a Japanese dictionary and search for the word meaning.
  • Maybe you already are, but opt for language classes with a medium size group (less than 8 preferably).
  • In my case my girlfriend is Polish so I ask her from time to time for some specific sentences I may use, if this is not your case, I think a few Preply lessons could help with a native speaker.
  • Memes, for some reason I picked up on the language faster through memes, if you are already struggling it helps to “relax” and check for something on the phone, also the words used there are the ones that natives actually use.
  • Last one is, use your medication, I have 2 pills, one that lasts 5-7 hours and one that acts immediately after taking it, but last maximum 2 hours.

Happy learning 😇

It would be better, if they opt for something everyone knows.

Perhaps, some of the EU buildings ? Like the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), the European Central Bank (ECB) , the Strasbourg building seat of the European Parliament, etc…

Also, since they are leaning towards landscapes, it can be the ones we identify the most like the Mediterranean Sea and with the word peace translated into some of the EU languages on the other side of the banknote.

I know my proposals are not creative, but damn… there are options definitely.

I don’t think I have been so involved in the Russian agression on Ukraine and thus my opinion may be quite laconic.

However, your point hit the nail, why only the EU and the US are the ones following up actions against Russia or helping Ukraine?

Unfortunately, I found myself the answer it's not in their best interest, China feels comfortable being the new country who all the others depend on(I think there are already a couple of articles shared in this thread pointing that out). India the same, they get cheap gas from Russia since the EU doesn’t want it anymore.

The global south unfortunately some of them are already in China’s wallet especially South American countries, they have several loans from China, and as usual due to the huge distance and being unaffected by the conflict they are not interested in doing so(Zelenskyy pointed this out when he said you think you are safe because there is a huge ocean between you and Russia when he met Trump in the White House a few months ago).

In the article, it is highlighted the situation with Ukraine.

It is not clear if there are other countries other than the EU that can influence the situation(aside the US and Russia).

However, it is also time the EU becomes a bit egoistic not because it is necessary, but it will help in the future to determine what countries are willing to cooperate in the same manner.
