Gervonta “Tank” Davis was arrested and booked Wednesday, Jan. 28 on charges of attempted kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery, according to records with the Miami-Dade County, Florida Clerk of Court and Corrections and Rehabilation Department.

Davis, 31, was being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to the records. The action against boxer stems from a woman saying Davis attacked her while she was working at Tootsie’s Cabaret strip club Oct. 27 in Miami Gardens.

• Uppercut requires being close and having the punching hand low. Inherent danger there.
• Hooking range is uppercut range
• Canelo throws right hook, left uppercut. This gets his range right. There's a moment where you're exposed in range but the hook keeps the opponent busy.
• When pressing together in the high guard, push both their gloves with one arm (i.e. frame). This allows you to sneak the other one away and uppercut.
• Hook to their ribs. When they defend this, they leave the centreline exposed to uppercuts. Do it fast.

Crazy that it was developed that recently and now used for so many martial arts, including some like TKD that have nothing to do with judo. TKD is neither wrestling nor Japanese.
