Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

TL;DR:  Let’s try to be less interesting!

Hello from your mod team (seems like just me, if you’re interested in being a mod ping me)!

I’ve noticed that things have been getting pretty interesting around here lately and we need to tone that back a little.  The goal of this community is to share things that aren’t particularly interesting that you come across.

Yes, “interesting” is very subjective, but I think we need to go back to our roots and consider what brought us all here… we wanted to be mildly interested.

Also, this isn’t a place for politics.  There are many other communities for that, let’s keep it there.

Here are a couple great examples of what I feel we should strive for:

That’s all for now, thanks for your support and understanding.

Yes there is a walmart, but only one actual grocery store, and it now stock frozen sushi.

Update: I shared this picture with my local gaming group, one of them went and picked up a tray.

He tossed it into the fridge and tried it this morning.

I had the first piece. It is supposed to be "Refrigerated Only" by the packaging, but honestly, with a fridge thaw, it tastes just fine. I've had plenty worse than that.

If I was not vegetarian I would give it a try. The closest place to get sushi to us is an hour drive.

I make DIY paints. This is lake pigment extracted and precipitated from cabbage dye left to dry in front of a fan, as opposed to my usual method of using paper filters. The patterns are neat.

The tram line has been open for about two years now, but people still have trouble remembering the tram has the right of way. Maybe this will help, the audible warning doesn't seem to be enough since many people have headphones (understandable, noise cancelling is a must if the city has any car traffic).
