Secure

The Foundation secures anomalies with the goal of preventing them from falling into the hands of civilian or rival agencies, through extensive observation and surveillance and by acting to intercept such anomalies at the earliest opportunity.

Contain

The Foundation contains anomalies with the goal of preventing their influence or effects from spreading, by either relocating, concealing, or dismantling such anomalies or by suppressing or preventing public dissemination of knowledge thereof.

Protect

The Foundation protects humanity from the effects of such anomalies as well as the anomalies themselves until such time that they are either fully understood or new theories of science can be devised based on their properties and behavior. The Foundation may also neutralize or destroy anomalies as an option of last resort, if they are determined to be too dangerous to be contained.

SCP: STATIC is a psychological horror short film set in the SCP Foundation universe, inspired by classified containment footage and unexplained anomalies.

Following a containment breach, distorted surveillance recordings document encounters with some of the most dangerous SCP entities ever cataloged. As systems fail and reality destabilizes, observation itself becomes a liability.

This SCP short film features:

SCP-173 — the infamous statue that moves when unobserved

SCP-066 — a hostile sonic entity capable of causing severe auditory trauma

SCP-087 — a never-ending stairwell hiding an unknown entity

SCP-426 — a self-referential toaster that alters human perception

SCP: STATIC blends found footage, analog horror, and psychological terror, exploring themes of surveillance failure, information corruption, and loss of control within the SCP Foundation.

If you enjoy SCP horror films, SCP short films, containment breach stories, and analog horror, this film is for you.

You are entering a fictional zone: reality has been suspended.

Mark's last day in the infohazard department is painfully predictable. In a world where magic and physical anomalies are contained by a secret organization, an ancient curse is item number three on the meeting agenda.

Item #: SCP-NC331

Object class: Euclid - Uncontained

Special Containment Procedures: Any identified instances of SCP-NC331 are to be immediately confiscated along side all other meat on the same premises under the standard cover story of a salmonella outbreak. Any persons involved in the sale of SCP-NC331 are to be questioned as to where the product was obtained; any induviduals discovered actively promoting SCP-NC331 either on its own or as part of another product are too be detained for questioning and subsiquently amnesticized.

Description: SCP-NC331 consists of a number of microwaveable and pre-packaged meat products known to appear anomalously in convenience stores throughout western europe and north america. Packaging of SCP-NC331 always resembles that of similar products sold within the same store though with subtle errors akin to those produced through repeated image compression.

The meat within SCP-NC331 always consists entierly of mamallian tumour tissue, though due to significant DNA degradation the exact species of mammal is currently unknown to the foundation. Testing with D-class personel has uncovered no further anomalous properties within SCP-NC331, the meat is apparently palatable and tastes similar to pork, though notably "A bit salty and a little dry".

Foundation efforts to determine the source of SCP-NC331 are currently ongoing, standard checks when dealing with food based anomolies have revealed no correlation between appearances of SCP-NC331 and any disappearances or increase in cancer rates.

Retrieval Log:
SCP-NC331-A: The most common form of SCP-NC331 consists of homogenous chunks of SCP-NC331 usually shaped into the form of chicken breasts or pork steaks.

SCP-NC331-B: The second most common form of SCP-NC331 appears as mincemeat.

SCP-NC331-C: This category of SCP-NC331 is broadly defined as all SCP-NC331 products taking the form of a microwaveable fast food product, most commonly burgers or sandwiches of some kind.

SCP-NC331-D: May rarely appear as boned meats such as beef ribs, pork shoulders and chicken breasts. In such instances the bones withing SCP-NC331 have been confirmed to also be tumerous in origin.

SCP-NC331-E: A predumably unintentional form of SCP-NC331, in such instances the packaging will be of even lower quality than usual and the meat within inevitably appears as a lumpy mass of raw tumour cells. Such instances and the reports they generate are currently the main source of confirmed SCP-NC331 manifestations by the foundation.

Working at a secret SCP Foundation site is stressful enough... Now imagine the one switch that powers the whole place won’t turn on.

Meet your average, slightly burned-out SCP technician. His job? Keep the lights on and the containment protocols running. But when The Switch fails, the countdown to disaster begins—and so does the awkward panic. What follows is a tension-filled (and slightly ridiculous) race against time to stop... well, probably the end of the world.

“The Switch” is a horror-comedy short film set in the eerie and unpredictable world of the SCP Foundation, where malfunctioning tech, existential dread, and absurd protocol collide.

I’m working on a project about the SCP canon or the lack there of and I’m wondering what the community thinks about the canon. Now I’m aware about the canon hub and the message on the top of the page

“The idea that there is no canon is a bit silly at times. It's not that we don't have any — It's that we have a multitude which touch, cross, and dip into each other. It's up to you, as the reader, to decide what you believe and what you embrace as the heart of the universe.

That doesn't mean, though, that authors lack intent or design, and collaboration is the heart of innovation.”

There’s around 50ish canons officially listed on the site and they vary wildly and I love that about the Foundation it gives lotta different possibilities for writing. However I feel that for most articles at least there’s the very basic canon of there’s anomalies, the Foundation exist, and the other basic things like that but I’d like to know the community’s thoughts thanks for reading!

If you’d like to skip my rant and read the full list click Here

We all know Safe, Euclid, and Keter. A lot of us even know the lesser known Thaumiel, and Apollyon. Now for the ones that are a lot less known

Archon which are “anomalies that could theoretically be contained but are best left uncontained for some reason”

we also have Ticonderoga “SCPs cannot be contained, but also do not need to be contained.”

The last ones I will cover are Non-Standard Object Classes

Explained this one is pretty self explanatory “anomalies that are completely and fully understood, to the point where their effects are now explainable by mainstream science, or phenomena that have been debunked or falsely mistaken as an anomaly.” there’s a special page for these and these are some of my favorite non Non-Standard Object Classes

Neutralized “SCPs are former anomalies that are no longer anomalous, either through having been intentionally or accidentally destroyed or disabled.” A good mix in this one a really notable heart breaking one Here be dragons

Decommissioned “SCPs are anomalies that have been intentionally destroyed or stripped of their anomalous properties by the SCP Foundation.”

Pending “SCP articles that have not yet been assigned an object class may be labelled as Pending. This is used to indicate that the Foundation does not currently have enough information to assign an object class to the anomaly.”

Uncontained “SCPs that are not yet contained may be assigned an object class, often Keter”

And finally Esoteric Object Classes

Additional Object classes not listed above are generally created to further the narrative in a particular SCP and only used once, and so are referred to as Esoteric or Narrative Object Classes.

So here’s all of them listed. What’s your favorite article or SCP that is a lesser known class

This is from a year ago but this channel is apart of PBS yes that PBS. It’s crazy seeing how much the SCP project has evolved to the point an organization as big as PBS is talking about it. The comments are a fun read too

As it goes it SCPs there is 1 one cannon and there’s a million different answers to this question but what I notice a majority of the time (not forgetting you 13 ) are anomalies. Who are in charge… of containing other anomalies.

My question is which do you think is the best fit for the O-5 a bunch of anomalies who contain other anomalies, a group of your standard secret “men in black” types, normal humans just doing their best?, or maybe something made up by the people who really run the foundation?

Please let me know what you think is the truth? (Or your favorite)
